Introduction Committee

The primary purpose of the Introduction committee is to plan the course of all introduction events related to new students of Economics & Business Administration. The purpose of these events is to make sure that all new students of the B.Sc. and M.Sc. programmes in Economics & Business Administration gets a fantastic introduction and start to their new study.

The primary task of the committee responsible is to employ champ chefs, tutors and helpers and to coordinate all of the introduction period. All of these volunteers play a key role in the events of the introduction period. It would not be a success without them. Tasks for volunteers could be to coordinate some of the introduction days, including teambuilding activities, parties and other social activities which will help the new students get together.

We cooperate with the Department of Marketing and Management, the academic student advisors and our partners in order to be able to conduct and arrange introduction period for the new students, thus ensuring that they get the best possible start to their study.

Every year in the spring semester the camp chiefs start the search for new tutors and helpers for the introduction period of the 250 new B.Sc. students, starting their new study in the following autumn semester. The application must include a motivation letter, name, study and contact information. As a volunteer you get the opportunity to leave your mark on the introduction period - including the freshman trip. Your job as volunteer is very important because you have the best opportunities to get in touch with the new students and make sure that they feel as a part of the study environment.
